Job Description
Heavy Equipment & Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) –
1 Position Each
QUALIFICATIONS:-
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering)
• Must have Computer proficiency and excellent, verbal written and report writing skills in English
EXPERIENCE:-
• Minimum 3 years experience in Port Handling (GC & RTG) Equipment
• Additional Manufacturer’s Training on Port equipments, engines or automobile industry & safety Awareness
• Exposure on Port equipments, engines, automobile industry & safety awareness
DUTIES:-
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules and to carry out daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and Yearly inspection of Gantry & RTG Cranes and their associated substations
• Ensure timely repair works and supervise the works of Mechanical / Electrical technicians, electricians & Mechanics.
• Prepare weekly shift change, raise various requisitions for spares, etc., job cards & verify spare parts.
• Distribute, monitor and check all maintenance activities and provide technical assistance to the technicians/electricians
• Coordinate with Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to plan maintenance works. Carry out maintenance, trouble shooting, repairs overhauling works, modification works and inspection of safety systems/components of equipments.
